Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Food Runner to join one of our Miami Beach Hotel Group restaurants. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for food service.
Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner.
- Ensure that all food items are presented beautifully and meet quality standards before serving.
- Assist with setting up and clearing tables, including bussing dishes and maintaining cleanliness in the dining area.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth communication regarding orders and special requests.
- Monitor food safety practices and adhere to health regulations at all times.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns promptly.
- Support the kitchen team with food preparation as needed.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with POS systems is a plus.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is essential.
- Experience in food preparation or cooking is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
