Qualifications
- Valid RN License
- Strong knowledge of managed care, patient service, and patient assessment
- Experience in hospital settings, including critical care and ICU
- Proficient in discharge planning and medical terminology
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
- Background in geriatrics and post-acute care preferred
- Familiarity with inpatient and outpatient care environments
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to develop individualized care plans.
- Manage patient care by coordinating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality service.
- Educate patients and families on care processes, treatment options, and discharge planning.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and medical terminology standards.
- Document patient progress and communicate effectively with healthcare providers.
- Utilize knowledge of physiology and managed care to optimize patient outcomes.
