Job Description:
We are seeking a Die Attach Assembly Specialist responsible for assembling product and components within required quality specifications. This role involves repetitive and routine tasks with specific, detailed instructions. While routine tasks are not closely supervised, new tasks are typically performed under close supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate manual deep-access Wedge-bonders, Ball-bonders, Epoxy Die attach, Eutectic Die attach, Micro-welders, and Wire-pull testers
- Manually place and bond miniature electronic components under a microscope using various epoxies, substrates, and pre-form materials
- Perform hot plate soldering
- Apply general and specialized knowledge of micro-electronics assembly techniques
- Use precision measuring instruments and micro-electronics fabrication machinery
- Read and analyze complex instructions, engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications
- Locate and analyze complex production problems
- Organize tasks and communicate effectively with team members
- Work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
Qualifications:
- High school diploma and two or more years of experience in micro-electronics assembly (Associate's degree in a related technical field preferred)
- Demonstrated understanding of techniques used in manufacturing Hybrids, Multi-chip Modules, and RF modules
- Ability to identify materials used during the manufacturing process
- Familiarity with pre-cap inspection criteria based on traditional Mil Spec guidelines and industry-accepted commercial practices
- Self-motivated, conscientious, and willing to learn
- Strong interpersonal skills and team player mentality
