• Technical Writer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong ability to transform complex information into clear, concise documentation. This role involves collaborating with various departments to create user manuals, technical guides, and other documentation that effectively communicates technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, and product specifications.
• Conduct thorough research to gather information from subject matter experts and existing documentation.
• Edit and proofread documents for clarity, consistency, and adherence to company standards.
• Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate representation of technical processes.
• Organize and manage documentation projects to meet deadlines while maintaining quality standards.

Skills

• Proficient in technical writing with a strong portfolio showcasing previous work.
• Excellent research skills to gather information from various sources.
• Strong editing and proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all documentation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Paint, Excel, Adobe Acrobat Pro
• 3D Modeling Software a plus
• Exceptional communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of Agricultural Equipment such as Tractors/Combines or Heavy Equipment such as Dozers/Track Hoes

Compensation

• Compensation from $65,000 to $75,000 per year plus Benefit Package
• Comprehensive Benefits Package including 70% paid health/optical/dental for you and your family (effective after 30 days), fully paid short term disability, long term disability, and a $25,000 Life insurance policy, fully paid uniforms, flex spend accounts, 12 days PTO first year, holiday pay, and matching 401k

Position located in Dexter, Iowa (roughly 20 minutes West of the Des Moines Metropolitan area).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,316.00 - $75,025.00 per year
