Float Teller

JOB SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of this position is to provide customer service to MidCountry Bank’s customers, both in person or by phone and be responsible for promoting MidCountry Bank’s products and services. This position will provide staff support for branches in need.

This position will work an average of 20 hours in the Long Lake branch and 20 hours in other branches as needed.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Perform all Teller functions

• Process various transactions (deposits, withdrawals, cashing checks, etc) requested by customers in person, via drive up, or over the phone.
• Assist with branch tasks as assigned by management
• Balance cash drawers, vault, and ATM

2. Solicit business and provide customer service to new and existing customers

• Identify customer needs and promote appropriate products and services
• Answer customer calls and perform any other services to address the customer’s needs
• Provide quality customer service by providing timely and accurate response to customer inquiries
• Solicit bank and non-bank product and services referrals through in-person referrals and outbound calls
• Connect customer with appropriate resources for situations

3. Maintain current knowledge of bank products, services and environment

• Attend training sessions and bank/branch meetings as required
• Complete online compliance courses as assigned
