Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities through effective maintenance and repair of equipment and systems. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on various equipment and systems within the facility.
- Conduct residential painting tasks as needed to maintain aesthetic standards.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities and inventory management.
- Lead small teams during maintenance projects, providing guidance and support to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
- Use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical issues.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders and service reports.
- Read and interpret schematics to assist in troubleshooting mechanical issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate maintenance schedules with minimal disruption to operations.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices in all maintenance activities.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to perform repairs on various types of machinery and equipment.
- Familiarity with residential painting techniques is a plus.
- Experience using CMMS software is beneficial but not required.
- Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
- Leadership skills with experience managing small teams or projects is desirable.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and technical manuals is essential.
- Welding experience is an advantage but not mandatory.

Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
