Middlesex County Office of Communications
The Digital Media Producer position in the Office of Communications serves to support the office’s operations, programs, and media channels both internal and external. This role primarily will focus on digital media including photography and videography with output in various channels including the County’s magazine, employee intranet, and quarterly television program, Spotlight TV.
Civil Service Title: Audio Visual Technician
Responsibilities
Required: minimum of 1- 3 years of professional photography and digital media experience including audio, videography, and editing.
- Photographs and/or captures video for various County and Board of County Commissioners’ events in a photojournalistic style throughout the year.
- Assigned to capture photos and videos for Office of Marketing projects as needed.
- Edits photo selects, prepares and distributes photos and videos to internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain photo and video Digital Archive Management system.
- Assist in capturing and editing fixed videos according to brand standards and under the direction of the Office of Marketing (ex: How-to videos, TV programming, Public Meeting videos, etc.).
- Proficient in all the latest digital editing software (stills and videos)
- Solid coordination and organizational skills to identify and arrange photo and/or video opportunities for use in various County communications channels.
- Produces quarterly cable broadcast television show promoting County programs and initiatives.
- Works independently in a team environment and collaborates closely with the Office of Marketing and Public & Government Affairs
- Available for assignments outside of normal business hours, as needed for high-profile events.
