*Job Overview* We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Fiber Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in telecommunications and be proficient in fiber splicing, network installation, and field service operations. This role requires a hands-on approach to installing and maintaining fiber optic systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability for our clients. *Responsibilities* - Perform installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of fiber optic networks. - Conduct fiber splicing and testing to ensure proper connectivity and performance. - Utilize hand tools and equipment to install low voltage systems effectively. - Collaborate with team members on field service projects, ensuring timely completion. - Work with Cisco routers and other networking equipment to support network installations. - Provide excellent customer service while communicating with clients on-site. - Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during installations. *Skills* - Proficient in field service operations related to telecommunications. - Strong knowledge of low voltage systems and electrical principles. - Experience with telephone systems and their integration into fiber networks. - Mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and repairing equipment as needed. - Familiarity with fiber splicing techniques and tools. - Ability to install and configure network equipment, including Cisco routers. - Competence in using hand tools for installation tasks. - Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. Pay: $1,246.00 - $1,438.00 per week
