Job Location: This position is fully onsite at the Avoca location
Job Purpose:
In compliance with established policies and procedures, this position performs data processing and operations functions along with internal and external customer service for all Midstates Bank's branches. The Operations Associate will perform assigned duties in accordance with Midstates Bank's Core Values and will adhere to the Quality Service Standards.
Essential Functions:
- Assists in day-to-day operational support of all Midstates Bank locations including, but not limited to: file maintenance, routine deposit procedure questions, online banking reset, debit cards, maintenance and verification
- Provide wire support to locations
- Process new and replacement debit cards as needed via instant issue
- Provide customer service phone support
- Assist in return check processing
- Assist in text banking support
- Assist in uploading new accounts and funding
- Assist in statement preparation
- Provide research support to all locations - statements, ACH questions, etc.
- Assist in fraud detection, monitoring and reporting
- Participate in civic activities to promote growth and development of the community and a positive image for the bank.
- Other duties and projects as assigned
Skills/Qualifications:
Positive communication skills, Microsoft Windows and Office, Jack Henry SilverLake software, accuracy, detail oriented, ability to multi-task, reliability, confidentiality, and customer service.
Education:
HS diploma or equivalent
Experience:
Minimum of 5 years banking experience strongly preferred
