We are dedicated to care of the hearts and minds of our patients with compassion and superior quality behavioral healthcare services through our full-immersion Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) program for children and adolescents ages 10 - 18 who struggle with emotional, behavioral and mental health challenges. Position Summary:
The Residential Therapist carries out the responsibilities of obtaining social history information to familiarize clinical staff and physicians with the patient and any past/present problems. Acts as liaison with the patient’s family or support system and referral sources. Provides direct psychotherapy to patients in individual, family, and group settings. Assists with utilization review with third party payor sources.

About Universal Health Services
Master's degree in social work, psychology or counseling required.
Experience:
Prefer one year of experience working in a psychiatric setting with patients aged 10-18yrs. Must have working knowledge of DBT.
Requirements: Must be 21 years old
Licensure/Certifications: LCSW, LMFT, LMHC required. Must have a valid driver’s license. Must complete DBT skills training certification course within 6 months of hire.

Provide weekly individual therapy, family therapy, and group therapy- Formulate & implement initial Treatment Plan and Master Treatment plan with updates
- Work with family and/or referral source for appropriate and adequate discharge planning and aftercare
- Attend court hearings as necessary
- Attend weekly staffing
