What are the responsibilities and job description for the Stormwater EIT position at Midwest Mole?
Summary
Clinchfield Consulting Group is for a full-time Stormwater EIT to support our growing freight rail program. Applicants must have a good work ethic and a willingness to learn. We rely on our professionals to deliver services in a timely and professional manner.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Work as a member of a design team in preparation of the following elements of transportation drainage design using local (state, county or city) or HEC/USACE standards: hydrology, hydraulics, apply expertise in CAD (both Civil 3D and MicroStation), storm drain design, ditch and channel design, hydrologic assessment of watersheds, Floodplain and Riverine Analysis.
- Work with a team in the preparation of plans, analysis and reports for projects of various sizes and complexity.
- Production of the following: Drainage Reports, Drainage Plan and Profiles, Erosion and Sediment Control Plans, Floodplain Mapping and Permitting.
- On site field surveying, data collection and analysis may be required on occasion.
- Must be able to perform job duties outside of a typical office environment by completing the majority of their tasks and projects using a computer. Will communicate with supervisor and other team members via phone and video calls and messaging.
- Some travel may be required
- Perform other duties as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or closely related field.
- Experience with storm drain system analysis,
- Professional experience with MicroStation/AutoCAD required.
- Some experience in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, and application of industry standard software including Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, HEC-RAS, HY-8and/or FlowMaster
- Excellent technical and general communication skills.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently and with a project team to completion of task.
- An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must.
- Ability to obtain railroad badging

Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
