Midwestern Pet Foods is seeking a Territory Sales Manager to work with a regional team to grow our pet food brands and brand awareness. A successful team member must have strong negotiation skills, excellent communication and the determination to continually increase sales. The preferred location is the Southern PA, NJ, DE, MD area. Approximately 75% - 80% overnight travel.
Responsibilities:
· Meet and exceed sales goals and objectives
· Develop a thorough understanding of Midwestern Pet Foods products, market conditions, and retailer strategies to maximize sales
· Build strong relationships and offer exceptional support to our retailers and customers
· Develop and execute innovative/creative sales strategies
· Manage company tools and resources effectively to deliver maximum results
· Professional represent Midwestern Pet Foods and brands
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
· 3 years’ experience sales, pet foods sales experience preferred
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, effective presentation skills
· Positive attitude and team player
· Strong analytical and project management skills
· Computer/mobile technology proficient
· Valid driver’s license, presentable transportation and insurance
· Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
