We are seeking a skilled Pipeline Technician to join our team! This role involves maintaining the integrity of our pipelines, conducting regular inspections, and performing routine maintenance.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of pipeline operations, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance.
Experience with pipeline construction, repair, and maintenance is also critical for this position.
Ultimately, the Pipeline Technician will contribute to the safe and efficient operations of our pipeline systems, ensuring they meet all standards and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections of pipelines and pipeline systems.
- Maintain and repair pipeline infrastructure.
- Monitor and adjust pipeline operations and pressures.
- Ensure compliance with safety and environmental policies.
- Conduct tests to gauge pipeline functionality.
- Prepare and present detailed reports on pipeline operations and maintenance.
- Respond to pipeline emergencies and coordinate repairs.
- Work with team members to develop and implement pipeline projects.
- Stay up to date on industry regulations and standards.
- Operate heavy equipment as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Pipeline Technician or similar role.
- Experience in pipeline compressor station commissioning.
- Strong knowledge of pipeline systems, operations, and maintenance.
- Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Proficiency in the use of hand and power tools.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, such as lifting heavy objects, climbing ladders, and working in extreme weather conditions.
- High school diploma or equivalent. A post-secondary certificate or training in a related field is a plus.

- Pay rate is based upon candidate experience and qualifications.
- Reporting Structure: Reports to the Pipeline Operations Manager or Pipeline Supervisor.
- Work Environment: Outdoor field work.
