What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part Time Afternoon One Year Old Teacher position at Milestone Academy?
We are looking for loving, patient, reliable, organized individuals to join our team! We are looking for a part time person. Must have a high school diploma, pass a background screening and drug test. Must be willing to take online and possibly in person trainings. The most important aspect is your temperament. We want staff that love children, love to learn, and have the patience to work with our children. Must be willing to complete all required classes and a CDA course within one year. We are looking for people that want this as a career and long-term employment. This position will work with our one year old children, and stay with them until closing. Please understand that childcare requires continuous training.
Hours are 1:00PM to 6:00 PM on Mondays through Friday.
- Employ a variety of educational techniques (storytelling, art, educational play, media etc.) to teach children
- Diapering and handwashing
- Organize snack hours and supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Communicate with parents regularly to understand the children’s background and psyche
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
