EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT
- ED Volume: 13,000
- 10 treatment rooms plus four behavioral health beds
- New ED facility to begin construction in November 2022
- Level II ED has lower acuity, community-type patient pathology with approximately 10 percent admission rate
- Established referral programs to other local hospitals when necessary
- Meditech EMR with Dragon dictation
- Resident and medical student ED rotations include family medicine, psychiatry, podiatry, pharmacy, orthopedic surgery and transitional year
- 24/7 psych resident in the ED
- Hospitalist service handles approximately 95 percent of admissions
- ED ultrasound
- Rapid radiology reads and lab results
- Well-equipped department includes Glidescope, slit lamp

- A 167-bed osteopathic acute care hospital, located in Erie, PA, offering 24-hour emergency care and comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services
- The largest, regionally recognized provider of behavioral health in northwest PA
- 85 beds, featuring three specialized units for children, adults, older adults and an adult partial hospitalization program
- Senior services, including an ACE unit (Acute Care for Everyone) and the LECOM Senior Living Center, which provides full access to nursing and rehabilitation services
