What You Will Do
- Set up and operate the Scodix Digital Enhancement Press for high-value trading card embellishment and foil decoration
- Review job specifications and configure machine settings for optimal production quality
- Monitor and adjust machine parameters including speeds, temperature, and ink flow throughout production runs
- Perform quality control checks to ensure print clarity, color accuracy, and conformance to client standards
- Execute preventative maintenance procedures to maintain equipment performance
- Train new operators and team members on machine operation and safety protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Ensure strict adherence to client confidentiality requirements
What You Will Bring Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Technical training or certification in digital printing operations preferred
- Experience with digital enhancement equipment, particularly Scodix technology
- Previous experience in printing or manufacturing environment
Skills and Abilities:
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a 2-2-3-2 rotational schedule (7pm-7am or 7am-7pm)
- Strong attention to detail and quality control mindset
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods during 12-hour shifts
- Technical aptitude for operating and troubleshooting sophisticated printing equipment
- Ability to read and interpret job specifications and technical documentation
- Strong color recognition and assessment capabilities
- Basic mechanical skills for routine maintenance tasks
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping abilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality of sensitive materials
