Job Summary :
The Account Manager will be responsible for overseeing all day-to-day business, personal, bookkeeping and financial matters for assigned clients and entities. The Account Manager’s primary responsibilities include proactively communicating with clients to ensure satisfaction and maintaining accurate client books and records; therefore, the candidate must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as analytical and organization stills. The Account Manager works closely with one or more Partners and Managers, but the position requires time management, and independent thinking and judgement.
Duties / Responsibilities :
- Manage client accounts by Interacting effectively with clients, multiple partners and vendors.
- Multi-task, meet multiple deadlines, pivot to reprioritize and track all open projects.
- Maintain list of projects and status, follow through until a project is complete and communicate the status and results to partners, clients and or vendors as necessary.
- Analyze and reconcile account balances, company bank accounts and investment accounts.
- Perform daily banking procedures.
- Code, obtain approval for payment and process vendor invoices.
- Verify and post accounts receivable and accounts payable information.
- Prepare adjustments to accounting records.
- File and remit business licenses, property taxes, excise tax and other business filings.
- Maintain general ledger.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, cash flow reports, management reports, etc.
- Maintain budget spreadsheets for analysis of actual performance against budget.
- Ensure compliance with various statutory payroll taxes.
- Prepare required reports in a timely and accurate manner.
- Make photocopies; mail, scan, and email documents; and perform other clerical functions, as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
