What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Outreach Solutions Consultant position at Miller-Motte?
The Business Solutions Consultant is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with community employers which have opportunities to hire our students and graduates.
The Business Solutions Consultant will work with the Director of Career Services to determine placement services required by students/graduates and uncover hiring needs of employers. Through employer cold-calls, off-site employer meetings and prospecting, this position will identify the optimal number of job leads and orders for graduate placement.
The Business Solutions Consultant will communicate with the Director of Career Services daily concerning business development and interview feedback. The Business Solutions Consultant will build and maintain sustainable and long-term relationships with local, regional and national employers to increase employment opportunities for all campus graduates.
Job Requirements
Associates Degree in business/sales related field, or minimum 2-years comparable work experience.
The successful candidate must possess both the ability and the willingness to work independently and act on her/his independent judgment. The candidate should be technically proficient in computer research and database management. Demonstrate an understanding for building relationships, networking and community-based business development. Always focus on Customer service and student-oriented satisfaction.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills. Solid ability to prioritize and multi-task. Excellent problem-solving skills and demonstrable creativity.
