General Manager at Miller Wall Company
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and Manage the leadership team
- Operational Leadership: Provide day-to-day leadership and management to the operational team. Ensure that the company has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and systems in place to effectively grow the organization while maintaining proper communication between the sales and finance team.
- Financial Oversight: Manage the company's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibilities. Ensure financial targets are met and sustained.
- Sales Management: Oversee the sales team to drive business growth. Develop and execute sales strategies that maximize revenue and market share. Develop and measure KPI’s to grow backlog, provide better customer service, and provide a place where our employees can thrive.
- Strategic Implementation: Work closely with the President to translate strategic plans into operational realities. Implement and manage business strategies to achieve the company's goals. Track progress of the strategic plan, create organizational clarity around who, what and when things are getting done. Work through roadblocks to keep the company on track.
- Team Development: Build, develop, and lead a high-performing team. Foster a positive and productive work environment, encouraging professional growth and development. Hold accountable the team to KPI’s and ensure that they are being hit. Continue to develop the career pathing method that allows for continual upward mobility of employees.
- Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness across all departments.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Proven experience in a senior operational role, preferably as a COO or similar, within the construction or related industry. Proven track record in managing, organizing and systemizing the growth of a $15MM-$50MM organization.
- Leadership: Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate teams. Demonstrated success in managing diverse teams and driving results.
- Financial Acumen: Deep understanding of financial management and performance metrics. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and execute tactically. Experience in translating high-level strategies into operational plans.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on finding innovative solutions to complex challenges.
- Adaptability: Ability to adapt to changing circumstances and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation and benefits:
- Pay: $140,000 - $150,000 Annually opportunity for Bonus

About:
At Miller Wall we solve client’s problems by building MSE retaining walls. Grade change, slope stability, road access, building pad, etc.- We do this and more with all types of MSE walls. Small Block, Panel, Wire Basket, Big Block (Redi-Rock, Stone Strong), and reinforced soil slope are all in our toolbox. We work in Homebuilder, Commercial, and DOT markets.
