Job Title: Audio/Video Technician

Class: Full-Time

Reports to: Operation Technology Executive Director

Summary:

We are seeking an Audio/Video Technician to configure, test, and support Audio/Video equipment for the Bucks, Fiserv Forum, and customer activities. The ideal candidate will work closely with the front & back of house teams to ensure conferences and other activities at Fiserv Forum and other facilities meet all A/V requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Prep, set, and strike A/V equipment throughout Fiserv Forum and other Bucks facilities.
  • Maintain all A/V equipment and keep accurate inventory.
  • Ability to think through signal flow of audio, video, and lighting systems based on available inventory in order to make sure that events are complete in every detail.
  • Operate A/V equipment with full understanding of signal flow and equipment specifications.
  • Determine equipment shortages while preparing equipment for events, recommend substitutions.
  • Maintain effective communication and feedback with Fiserv Forum departments, peers, and technology teammates.
  • Follow rigid deadlines.
  • Give support to other departments involved in the set-up, strike, and operation of the events.
  • Protect equipment from damage or theft and report damaged equipment to the appropriate person for repair.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relations with Fiserv Forum and Bucks staff.
  • Any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Proven background with audio/PA systems.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Maintain clean and safe working areas.
  • Ability to learn and use other A/V systems: Daktronics, IPTV, Crestron, streaming services, and other systems.
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed given the nature of the sports and entertainment business.
