What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Parts Counter Sales Person position at Milwaukee Division?
Our busy parts department is seeking a parts counter sales person. Prior parts dealership experience is preferred, but will train an applicant with excellent mechanical understanding. This is a full time position with a Saturday rotation based on staffing. CDK experience is very helpful, or strong computer skills are needed.
This position will assist retail and wholesale customers with their parts needs using digital catalogs, online ordering platforms and email. Strong communication skills are required. Keeping our customers up to date on their order status through phone calls, emails or updating online programs is critical. The ability to prioritize tasks and orders will assist you in this position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee the parts sales process from start to finish
- Work with parts manager to locate any parts not in stock
- Complete special order part request for the customer
- Communicate with customer on parts status
- Communicate with staff and customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Must follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations applicable to industry
REQUIREMENTS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience with auto parts sales (preferred)
- Able to work in a fast-paced work environment
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented, professional appearance and strong work ethic
