Well Tender

Overview:

Well Tender needed, experience required. Responsible for ensuring proper daily operation of assigned oil and gas wells. Will also perform routine maintenance on equipment around the well site utilizing various hand tools. This position requires the ability to work in all types of inclement and/or extreme weather conditions.

Essential functions of the job include but are not limited to:

• Daily monitoring of assigned wells ensuring wells are functioning properly.
• Daily inspection of lines and tanks.
• Adjust pressure gauges and valves.
• Check and monitor compressors.
• Accurately record meter readings.
• Change weekly and monthly charts.
• Maintain well locations.
• Routine maintenance and repairs of compressors, meters and other components.
• Notify Supervisor of problems or concerns.
• Perform additional duties as needed and assigned by Supervisor.
• Work where needed in all types of inclement and/or extreme weather.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

The specific minimum competencies required for job performance.

• Well Tending experience required.
• Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.
• Must possess the ability to operate manual tools related to well maintenance to include, but not limited to shovels, wrenches, rakes, maddocks, and the like.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Must wear all necessary personal protective equipment/clothing.
• Must observe all Company safety rules and regulations.
