Position Qualifications :
Associate's degree in accounting or business related field preferred; or High School Diploma with four ( 4 ) years' experience required, preferably in health care accounts receivable setting.
Job purpose :
This position is responsible for benefits verification, explanation of benefits, collection, denial resolution and posting accounts to minimize aged receivables. This position also administers coverage plan setups, write offs, 270 / 271 process, and provides technical assistance to staff. This is a lead position for all commercial, Medicare and Medicaid billing.

Employee must occasionally lift and / or move up to 25 pounds. Employee is frequently required to walk, sit, stand or kneel and occasionally required to climb or balance and stoop. Must have ability to sit for longer periods of time at a computer. Employee must be able to travel between Mind Springs sites. May be exposed to stressful situations that involve enraged, distraught and / or intoxicated individuals with possible mental health conditions. Possible exposure to communicable disease.
