You will work closely with internal teams to develop and harmonize standards and guidance documents for climate interventions, focusing on renewable energy sourcing and decarbonization methodologies. This position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our mission of sustainability while collaborating with diverse stakeholders.
Responsibilities :
- Research, review, and summarize external standards and criteria from industry associations, coalitions, and standards bodies.
- Conduct interviews with internal team leads to gather requirements and assess existing documentation.
- Synthesize internal requirements and identify potential conflicts or gaps in standards.
- Establish cross-functional working groups to define high-quality procurement and decarbonization solutions.
- Align company criteria and standards across various decarbonization technologies, including renewable electricity sourcing and non-electric renewable energy sources like green hydrogen and biomass.
- Develop guidelines for accounting decarbonization solutions across emissions scopes, with a focus on electricity accounting practices such as grid mix treatment, temporal basis, scope 3 solutions sizing, and regional considerations.
