We are seeking an experienced Software Engineer with expertise in Unix/Linux environments, Oracle databases, and SCADA systems to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of software development, interface building, and control system applications, with the ability to manage the full software development lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Shell Scripting and Programming: Utilize senior-level expertise in Unix/Linux shell scripting, including ksh, to develop and maintain robust software systems.
- C Programming and Interface Development: Leverage experience in C programming to build interfaces using Oracle database data (PRO C).
- Software Development Lifecycle Management: Handle all phases of software development, from preparing technical specifications to programming, testing, validation, and deployment in production environments.
- Database Design and Development: Write PL/SQL code and manage Oracle database packages, triggers, views, and other objects, ensuring compatibility with Java code and new software modules.
- SCADA Systems Expertise: Apply 5 years of experience with SCADA systems, particularly Siemens Spectrum and ABB, to support control system applications and workflows.
- Control Systems Applications: Develop and support software under Control Systems Applications, including the Siemens Spectrum/OMS architecture, addressing workflows, technical issues, and interfaces with other systems.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years of software development experience with demonstrated expertise in SCADA systems and Unix/Linux environments.
- Technical Skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Unix/Linux shell scripting and ksh.
- Strong programming skills in C and experience with PRO C.
