Job Description
Business Manager will handle the day-to-today business and financial operations of the entire athletic department, including managing travel, budgets and ensure that the department follows any regulations or guidelines. Monitor all athletic department expenses working closely with the athletic and business and finance personnel to ensure the most effective and efficient operation and documentation of expenses within the workday. Have strong interpersonal, planning, and organizational abilities. Exhibit the highest professional standard and ethical behavior in the performance of all duties and responsibilities.
Physical Demands
Must be able to lift (5-20 lbs) Carrying( 5-20 lbs) Stooping, Bending Kneeling, Squatting Walking Standing Sitting
Required Qualifications
Have a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business, accounting, sport administration and possess the ability to work well with all levels of MVSU faculty/staff; must have the ability to plan, organize and prioritize responsibilities; must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable by the University.
Preferred Qualifications
Master’s degree is preferred.
