Job Overview
This position focuses on overseeing and ensuring that appropriate services and treatment are provided to clients to see them move towards permanency and experience successful outcomes. The supervisor will build a strong team approach with the TFC team, parents, and community resources. The supervisor accomplishes this through effective supervision, oversight on program development, policy implementation and clinical supervision.
The TFC Supervisor will be trained on the NCTSN (The National Child Traumatic Stress Network) toolkit. This is a comprehensive trauma informed method of creating change and helping individuals heal from trauma. The TFC Supervisor must have a clear understanding of trauma and demonstrate this understanding in their work with youth and resource providers. The ultimate outcome for a trauma informed philosophy is the creation of safe and stable living environments that promote safety, permanency, and wellbeing.
Duties
· Provide administrative and clinical oversight to the TFC Specialists
· Ensure clinical treatment is delivered in accordance with the TFC contract.
· Support resource development/licensing in the recruitment of TFC parents
· Maintain responsibility for all children and families within their team.
· Develop contractual relationships with the state and providers.
· Maintain focus on overall treatment of children and families, including the Wraparound Process, behavioral management interventions, and moving children to and maintaining them in a family home.
· Attend Family Support Team meetings, TDM’s, and Court Hearings with all assigned TFC specialists as needed.
· Review and sign appropriate documentation in CSWIS.
· Field phone calls related to specific cases as needed.
· Oversee management of adverse incidents related to assigned cases. Notify the Resource Development Director of all incidents.
· Monitor outcomes and conduct utilization review.
· Responsible for ensuring all policies, procedures, protocols, Treatment Plan development and implementation, paperwork, data entry and practices allow for the smooth and seamless delivery of services to children and their families
· Develop community awareness of TFC services.
· Review and support decisions of intake referrals
· Consult proactively with TFC Specialist on clinical resources and practical applications.
· On going clinical development of resources and support of TFC Specialist
· On going trauma informed treatment planning.
· Support all treatment plans and FST meetings.
· Consult with other clinical professionals as needed
· On-going supervision with individual monthly conferences including assessing secondary trauma.
· Approve documentation and ensuring they meet agency standards
· Conduct regular scheduled team meetings
· Participate in and overseeing on-call rotation
· Provide crisis support including documentation oversight
· Assist in training new employees.
· Assist in developing quarterly newsletter to send to resource families.
· Provide/oversee proper record keeping and documentation for all activities.
· Travel to All Staff Meetings, Resource Development Team meetings, Supervision and any other travel deemed necessary to meet the needs of TFC families.
· Other duties as assigned by the Resource Development Director.
Requirements
1. A master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, or a closely related clinical field from an accredited college and a minimum of three years of experience working with children and families of child-placing or residential treatment agencies. Clinical Licensure, LPC or LCSW is required..
2. Direct experience administering and/or providing Wraparound services.
3. Knowledge of the Missouri child and family service systems, i.e.: Medicaid (MO HealthNet, CPS, DFS, MRDD, Youth Services, Education, and Vocational
4. Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
5. A broad understanding of administrative issues, funding, program development, risk management, contracts, Personnel Law, and Managed Care.
6. Must be willing to travel.
7. Current Missouri driver’s license, good driving record, and vehicle insurance
8. Meet required background checks.
9. Computer skills in word processing, spread sheet, and data entry
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $56,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
