Manufacturing Systems/IT Technician - Midnight Shift

The overall goal of this team is to ensure that assembly production is efficient and effective by managing, maintaining and implementing processes and methods within the MES System (InSequence).  This position's schedule is 10PM - 7AM, M-F (starting Sunday nights).    Responsibilities include: Monitor broadcasts incoming from the customers to ensure that data is accurate compared to MES and ERP systems Maintain processes and methods for efficient engineering changes, test parts, new product launches, part substitutions Improve quality of production parts by implementing processes and methods of error proofing to prevent manufacturing defects, prevent us of incorrect or obsolete components, and ensuring part substitutions are processes accurately Work cross functionally within company departments (i.e. Quality, Logistics, Production, Accounting) to ensure that engineering changes and targets are communicated, initiated and successfully launched. Work within Manufacturing Systems Team to problem solve broadcast errors, production errors, non-conformances, MES errors, BOM and BOL issues, serial number/vin issues, etc.  Support IT functions of manufacturing areas during the shift  Our idea candidate has: Engineering, IT or Technical Degree Preferred, equivalent experience required 3 years of assembly manufacturing experience required Experience in MES software (like InSequence) preferred IT Systems background required Basic understanding of assembly processes
