Job Summary: Under the direction of the Contract Compliance Director, the Compliance Auditor position involves developing compliance indicators for all contracts, auditing agencies for compliance, preparing written audit result reports for stakeholders, and monitoring adherence to state regulations. This position is also responsible for ensuring agencies adhere to contracts as well as federal, state, and county regulations to ensure quality agency-provision of services for clients.

Job Responsibilities
- Compliance Standards. Develop and amend the compliance indicators to use for auditing purposes on an ongoing basis. Communicate with contracted agencies to ensure compliance expectations are understood. Continuously review state, federal, and county regulations to ensure compliance.
- Compliance Reviews. Schedule audits (announced/unannounced) agency visits regarding contractual and regulatory compliance. Clearly and succinctly document findings. Objectively review and report on compliance indicators pertaining to the audit at hand.
- Report of Findings (verbal/written). Verbally summarize compliance review results with the agency stakeholders at summation of audit. Prepare written reports of findings post-compliance review to submit to the agency and DHHS service area leadership. Assist agencies in development of corrective action plans (CAPS).
- Improvement Efforts. Collaborate with the contracting unit, orientation, and training unit to ensure alignment among all parts of contract management regarding expectations.
- Request of Information. Collaborate with the contracting unit to collect Request for Information (RFI) documentation in preparation for contract renewals.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be a current resident of the State of Wisconsin
- Current Wisconsin Driver's License and access to a reliable insured vehicle; both maintained throughout employment required
- Must have a bachelor’s degree or higher from an approved college or university with a major in Business/Public Administration, Social Work, or in a closely related field.
- At least one (1) year of experience in an auditing, clinical oversight, or human services role required.
- In lieu of the bachelor’s degree, a high school diploma and/or GED equivalent and at least three (3) years of recent experience working in an auditing, clinical oversight, or human services role is required.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite
- At lease intermediate experience with Microsoft Teams and SharePoint computer software.
- Must be able to travel within the community up to 50-75% of work time.
