Job Summary: The Senior Grant Analyst is responsible for managing financial awards from government (federal, state, and local) sources and foundations. This position works collaboratively with project directors, fiscal services, and senior leadership to ensure adherence to funding regulations. The Senior Grant Analyst is also responsible for expanding the organization's funding support and strengthening relationships with current federal and state program officers.

Senior Grant Analyst

Job Duties
- Prepare and submit grant reports, lead grant management and government grant-related compliance initiatives, and track reporting requirements and deadlines. Create and maintain government grants project management system.
- Facilitate government grant proposal team processes, including all internal and external outreach and planning required. Ensure that all internal and final deadlines are met and proposal components are being addressed by relevant staff, including accounting and program.
- Review, understand, and report on government grant agreements, contracts, compliance issues, budgets, modifications, and sub-awards.
- Provide regular updates on government grant activities. Prepare narrative and statistical reports as needed. Maintain knowledge of government grant funding policies, regulations, and procedures. Disseminate and/or present changes to internal staff & leadership team as needed.
- Work collaboratively with BHS fiscal services to assist with agency budget preparation and quarterly project budget reviews as it relates to government grants.
- Complete all other duties as assigned.
- Current resident of the state of Wisconsin.
- Hold an active Wisconsin Driver's License which will be maintained throughout employment.
- A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university.
- At least one (1) year of experience working in Project Management and Grants Management.
- Intermediate knowledge of all related computer and software applications, such as word processing and spreadsheets.
- Demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Experience working with budgets.
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse individuals.
