BS, or MS in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, chemical engineering, bioengineering or related disciplines with industry experience in formulation and/or process development.
Must have experience with biologics and/or small-molecule parenteral injectables formulation, drug delivery, and/or manufacturing process development, and related analytical methods.
Strong communicator, team player, with curiosity (eager to learn), and with cross functional experiences.

1) What hours and days will this person be working? General working hours (8 am.-5 p.m.), able to be flexible in working hours depending on project needs
2) Length of the assignment? 1 year, renewable for 2 years
2) What are the top 5 skills/requirements this person is required have?
a. Required Skill 1: experience with parenteral products (injectables) formulation and/or process development
b. Required Skill 2: working knowledge with one or more manufacturing unit operations (ultrafiltration, diafiltration, freeze drying, spray drying, mixing, filling and/or sterile filtration)
c. Required Skill 3: experience with analytical methods for protein therapeutics (SEC-HPLC, icIEF, Karl Fischer titration, viscometers, fluorescence, DSC, UV-Vis)
d. Required Skill 4: statistical data analysis; hands-on experience with DoE (Minitab, JMP)
e. Required Skill 5: ability to work/think independently
3) What years of experience, education, and/or certification is required?
Scientist I: BS degree with 2-4 years of industry experience.
Scientist II: BS degree with 4-6 years of industry experience. MS degree with relevant graduate research and 0-3 years of industry experience (preferred).
4) What is a nice to have (but not required) regarding skills, requirements, experience, education, or certification? Experience with process modeling and scientific programming
