Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pizza Cook to join our dynamic kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the food industry, particularly in pizza preparation and cooking, and will be responsible for creating delicious pizzas that meet our high standards of quality and taste. This role requires a strong understanding of food safety practices and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and menu specifications.
• Ensure all food handling procedures comply with food safety regulations.
• Assist in menu planning, including the development of new pizza recipes and specials.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen workspace, adhering to sanitation standards.
• Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary.
• Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
• Participate in catering events as needed, preparing pizzas for large groups or special occasions.
• Provide excellent customer service by ensuring that pizzas are made to order and meet customer preferences.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a cook in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred.
• Knowledge of food handling techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation practices.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
• Experience with menu planning and meal preparation is a plus.
• Familiarity with dietary department requirements or catering services is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Passion for cooking and creating high-quality food products, particularly pizzas.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
