Come join our team! Mobius is a fast growing and award-winning systems engineering company looking for a Senior Systems Engineer on our Weapons and Missile Systems contract. This position is in the Aegis Ballistic Missile Defense Program Office (MDA/AB). The incumbent will directly support the Program Office Engineering directorate in all aspects of the engineering “V”.

We are seeking a candidate with systems engineering / combat systems and interoperability experience. Background in any of these mission areas is a plus: Aegis Combat and Weapon Systems, Aegis (BMD), Ship Self Defense System (SSDS), Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD), Navy Integrated Fire Control-Counter Air (NIFC-CA), Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW)/Undersea Warfare (USW), and Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP). The successful candidate will possess proficiency in working on large cross-functional teams, interacting with leadership/technical managers, and ability to interact and effectively coordinate with sponsors and contractor organizations.

This full-time salaried position serves onsite with the client in Dahlgren, VA and potentially requires some travel within the continental United States.

Duties of a Senior Systems Engineer may include:

• Providing review and recommendations on combat systems integration technical issues
• Assisting with the organization and management of testing, planning and conducting test events across weapon system baselines, missile variants and in support of product managers
• Reviewing requirements traceability and analysis
• Assisting with program certification activities including Operational Capability Baseline (OCB) authorizations
• Providing technical assessments, evaluations, and analysis on system problems and participate in Engineering Technical Reviews (ETRs) ) and have familiarity with the Dynamic Object Oriented Requirements System (DOORS) database
• Perform systems engineering for Integration at the Element and Component Levels in accordance with the Systems Engineering Plan (SEP) and Systems Engineering Management Plan (SEMP)
• Support Warfighter coordination and integration and supporting evaluations of future ship designs

Required Experience:

• 12 years of related system engineering experience
• Proficiency in written and verbal skills as well as MS Office and demonstrated ability to deliver products on schedule
• Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to perform efficiently and effectively on multiple projects under tight deadlines and work independently
• Must have strong interpersonal skills and be able to communicate effectively and have capability to develop and present program briefings at senior leadership-level

Education Requirements:

• BS in Engineering or STEM related technical field, MS Degree a plus

Clearance Requirements:

• Candidate must have an active government Secret Clearance, TS desirable
