Job Description:
As a Human Resources Generalist In Cleveland NC , you will support in the facilitation and administration of all HR-related activities including recruitment, employee relations, benefits, onboarding, payroll, and policy administration.
$75k annually or $36.06/hour.
Primary Responsibilities:
  1. Timekeeping and attendance management with primary responsibility for plant payroll processing
  2. Manage the recruitment process to ensure hourly production, and temporary labor staffing needs are met at the location and assist with salaried employee recruitment.
  3. Conduct new hire orientations/benefits programs and exit interviews, and educating employees on benefits, policies and procedures.
  4. Manage hourly employee evaluation process and coordination with supervisors
  5. Provide HR Manager with monthly labor, headcount, and other reports
  6. Maintain positive employee relations by ensuring a proactive, open environment to facilitate employee communication and responding to employee concerns.
  7. Facilitate and coordinate in planning and organizing employee engagement activities and communications and oversee local Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DE&I) Council.
  8. Coach supervisors on performance, employee relations, employee development and other HR related issues.
  9. Coordinate and facilitate counseling and corrective action for employees led by Supervisors
  10. Recommend new approaches, policies, and procedures to improve workplace culture, HR department operation, and ensure employee compliance.
  11. Ensure compliance with all HR-related governmental regulations and federal/state/local laws
  12. Manage employee leaves and absences.
  13. Manage of HRIS systems and data integrity
  14. Take on special projects as needed.
  15. Performing other duties and project work as assigned.
Required Skills:
  • Dedication to elite customer service to all customers
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  1. Ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities, with keen attention to detail
  2. Intermediate Microsoft Office Suite, and excellent computer skills
  3. Proven critical thinking skills and complex problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to adapt to system/technology changes as well as use of current systems
  • Ability to act with confidentiality and carefully handle employee information, files, and sensitive matters
  • Establish and maintain positive “customer” relationships at all levels of the organization
Required Education/Experience:
  1. A bachelor’s degree and at least two (2) years of hands-on Human Resources experience - OR - Five (5) years of hands-on Human Resources experience.
  2. Experience assessing employee conflicts and investigations as well as bringing effective solutions to supervisors and managers
Preferred:
  1. Experience working with Workday HRIS
  2. Experience working with UKG/Kronos timekeeper

Salary : $36 - $75,000
