Position
The ideal candidate will understand the SAP S/4 HANA system, business processes, and data analysis. You will play a crucial role in identifying business needs, optimizing SAP functionalities, and supporting the implementation of SAP solutions that align with our organizational goals.
Location: Can be located in either Monroe, WI or Chilton, WI
Remote Status: Hybrid
Responsibilities
- Requirements Gathering & Process Improvement: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, document, and analyze business requirements related to SAP systems. Identify areas for process improvement and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity within the SAP Public Cloud framework in the Sales and Aftersales area.
- Project Management & System Configuration: Work on SAP projects representing the SAP FI/CO modules ensuring timely delivery and alignment with project objectives (SAP rollouts, integration projects, etc.) Assist in the configuration and customization of SAP FI/CO modules to meet business requirements and implement system changes per the system architecture and integrations by creating functional specifications.
- Documentation & Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide insights and support decision-making, ensuring data integrity and accuracy within the SAP Public Cloud system. Create and maintain documentation for business processes, system configurations, enhancements, and training materials for SAP Sales and After Sales area
- User Support & Collaboration: Main contact person for business users within the support organization for the SAP Finance and Costing modules and supporting systems. Also, provide training to global & local business users. Work closely with the global IT team (SAP and Non-SAP teams) and other departments to ensure seamless integration of SAP solutions. Additionally, coordinate with external providers for support and day-to-day functioning
- Testing and Validation: Develop and execute test plans to validate system configurations and ensure functionality aligns with business needs. Take part in regression testing cycles for each SAP Public cloud upgrade and ensure business processes work seamlessly
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum 5 – 10 years experience as functional SAP FI/CO consultant; Up to 5% domestic travel as required
- Strong understanding of the main SAP S4 HANA FI/CO business processes with hands-on experience including customizations and the ability to lead mid-size projects within the functional area
- Deep know-how on the Finance and costing integration to all SAP modules (SD, MM, PP, etc.)
- Good understanding of SAP interface technologies and other enhancement platforms (RFC, IDOC, web services, BTP, etc.)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and is eager to learn new topics; with the ability to work independently within the team and is willing to go the extra mile if required
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams globally and is willing to proactively work with the business counterparts
- Hands-on SAP Public Cloud or SAP S/4 HANA experience is a plus and relevant SAP-specific or Business analyst certifications are advantageous
