Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Store Manager to lead our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales growth. The Store Manager will also be instrumental in training and developing staff to achieve their full potential.
Duties
- Oversee daily store operations, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage inventory control processes, including ordering, receiving, and stock management.
- Utilize retail math to analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize store performance.
- Supervise and mentor staff, fostering a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and collaboration.
- Conduct training development programs for new hires and ongoing staff education to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills.
- Negotiate with vendors for the best pricing on inventory and supplies.
- Maintain the Point of Sale (POS) system to ensure accurate transactions and reporting.
- Monitor payroll processes to ensure accurate employee compensation and adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Drive wireless sales initiatives by promoting products and services effectively to customers.
Experience
- Previous experience as an Assistant Manager or in a similar supervisory role within a retail environment is preferred.
- Experience in Metrc
- State License Badge Required
- Strong understanding of inventory management practices and retail operations.
- Proven ability in training development and staff supervision.
- Excellent negotiation skills with experience in vendor management.
- Proficiency in using POS systems for transaction processing and reporting purposes.
- Familiarity with wireless sales is a plus but not mandatory.
