Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate snow grooming equipment to maintain and shape ski trails, terrain parks, and beginner areas.
  • Work closely with the grooming team and mountain operations staff to prioritize nightly grooming schedules and objectives.
  • Ensure proper snow coverage on trails, filling thin areas and maintaining smooth transitions.
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Assist with snowmaking operations as needed.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to protect yourself, your team, and guests during all operations.

  • Work closely with the grooming team and mountain operations staff to prioritize nightly grooming schedules and objectives.
  • Ensure proper snow coverage on trails, filling thin areas and maintaining smooth transitions.
  • Build and maintain terrain park features, including jumps, rails, and other structures.
  • Conduct pre- and post-shift equipment inspections to ensure machinery is operating efficiently and safely.
  • Communicate promptly with supervisors regarding any mechanical issues or safety concerns.
  • Assist with snowmaking operations as needed.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines to protect yourself, your team, and guests during all operations.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience operating snow grooming equipment, preferably in a ski area setting.
  • Strong understanding of ski area operations and trail maintenance standards.
  • Mechanical skills and the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
  • Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays in variable weather conditions.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
  • Valid driver’s license required

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment.
  • Capability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical labor in cold, snowy conditions.
  • Ability to work through the night, early morning shifts, and during Holidays.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week
