Advertising Sales Representative

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Advertising Sales Representative to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our advertising to a diverse range of clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a passion for sales, and the ability to build lasting relationships with customers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where your contributions directly impact our business growth.

This position is 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5pm. No weekends. Pay depends on experience.

Applicants must have a reliable vehicle, clean drivers license, dependable, and have an excellent attendance record. There will be some travel between Independence and Parsons with mileage reimbursements.

Duties

• Conduct outside sales activities, including cold calling and direct sales efforts to generate new business opportunities.
• Analyze client needs and develop tailored advertising solutions that meet their objectives.
• Manage the entire sales process from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring a seamless experience for clients.
• Negotiate contracts and pricing with clients while maintaining profitability for the company.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective promotional materials and campaigns..
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, and client interactions.

Experience

• Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales, preferably in advertising or a related field.
• Strong skills in lead generation and managing customer relationships.
• Ability to analyze market trends and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth.
• Excellent negotiation skills with a track record of closing deals successfully.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on customer service.
• Familiarity with digital advertising platforms is a plus but not required.
