Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Communicate with clients, insured parties and claimants to guide them through the claim process and address questions
- Review and verify insurance coverage as confirmed by the Claims Director to ensure claims are eligible for processing
- Investigate claims thoroughly to determine responsibility, collecting and reviewing documents like police and medical reports as needed
Qualifications
- Prior experience in claims investigation, property insurance, or a related field
- Knowledge of insurance policies and coverage assessments to determine liability
- Familiarity with claims management software, preferably Origami, for tracking and processing claims
