Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. This role requires a strong understanding of various maintenance techniques and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently. The Maintenance Person will work closely with other team members to maintain high standards of service and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs.
- Perform repairs on electrical systems, including troubleshooting and replacing components as necessary.
- Utilize logic controllers and schematics to diagnose equipment issues.
- Maintain and operate Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking maintenance activities.
- Provide excellent customer service while interacting with residents or clients during maintenance tasks.
- Execute welding tasks as needed for repairs or fabrication projects.
- Use tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical testing and diagnostics.
- Carry out residential painting and other aesthetic improvements as required.
- Fabricate parts or components when necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
- Document all maintenance activities, including completed work orders and inventory usage.
Requirements
- Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, for effective communication.
- Experience with logic controllers and electrical systems is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for tracking maintenance tasks.
- Strong customer service skills to effectively interact with clients and residents.
- Ability to perform welding tasks; certification is a plus but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Experience in residential painting techniques is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics related to electrical systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team.

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
