Mobile E-Bike Mechanic

Spheara seeks to hire a full-time mobile e-bike mechanic (Service Technician) who will be responsible for providing best-in-class customer service while performing repairs on various light electric vehicles (LEVs), including e-bikes/trikes and e-quads. The right person for the job will be comfortable traveling to and working at various customer locations within the greater New York City area. About the Position Provide an incredible customer experience under all conditions, professional and conversational while providing maintenance and repair services Perform inspection, diagnosis, repair and complete overhaul on various LEVs, with the ability to quickly become proficient in servicing customized vehicles Document customer interactions and track/invoice services performed Accurately manage inventory levels  Work unsupervised in remote locations with a high level of productivity Travel regularly within the local geographic area to provide services to customers About You  You bring expertise with previous experience as an e-bike or LEV mechanic in a high-volume environment with a dedication to quality of repair and service You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills, with a high attention for detail and follow-through You exhibit a strong work ethic and internal drive with the ability to work autonomously with a high level of productivity and self-accountability You value safety in all work activities, following all safety regulations and policies/procedures You can safely and comfortably ride an e-bike, or e-trike, with a cargo trailer throughout the New York City metropolitan area You can demonstrate the ability to lift and carry to 75 pounds, reach, stoop, bend, kneel, stand, bike, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday About Us Spheara is a mobile, light-electric vehicle shop concierge service and a contracted vendor for fleet maintenance and repair. Our goal is to keep our delivery clients riding and delivering longer, by providing exceptional service with convenience.  We focus on preventative maintenance and repairs for corporate clients.
