What are the responsibilities and job description for the Launch Manager position at Motus?
Position Title : Launch Manager
Reports to : Plant Manager
Work Location : Spartanburg Facility - Spartanburg, SC
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for preparing Spartanburg for a successful launch through the correct use of the Plant Launch Glide Path System
- Manage all Operations related items on the Launch SDT document, ensuring timely completion to all items, notifying the appropriate management staff when items are at risk to a successful plant launch
- Responsible for coordinating the activities of the Plant Operations Team to assure plant systems, equipment, and tracking programs are completed on time and in compliance with the Plant Launch Glide Path System
- Act as the face of operations for customers with programs in launch
- Aid Engineering Team in all trial builds and tooling troubleshooting and process troubleshooting
- Aid in resolution of open product issues
- Ensure timely resolution to all launch PRR's and customer concerns
- Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product, process and quality system and follow through to drive implementation of solutions
- Manage launch within defined operational budget
- Identify and record any problems relating to the product, process and quality system, tracking each to closure.
