Experienced Bookkeeper Needed!
Pay: $30-$33 per hour
Schedule: M-F, 8am-5pm
Worksite location: Richmond, Vermont
Duration: Temp to perm
Summary
The Bookkeeper’s core duties include overseeing and managing finances, fielding inbound calls from clients and customers, and directing them to the appropriate staff. This position requires prioritizing and handling multiple tasks and projects concurrently. The position reports to the Chief Executive Officer and works closely with program management team members.
Finance Duties
Manage financial accounting, including:
• Financial Statements – Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet
• Program Budget Trackers
• Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
a. Client invoicing
b. Collections
• Process biweekly payroll and maintain payroll reports
• Prepare Financial Reports by the 15th of each month
Human Resources Duties
• Assist with the management of employee benefits administration such as health insurance, dental insurance, long-term disability insurance, and SIMPLE IRAs
• Implement all changes to employee deductions
• Update staff contact information in the tracking system
Position Requirements
• Minimum 3 years bookkeeping experience
• Proficient with QuickBooks online
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Effective analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks
• Excellent time management, organizational, and written/oral communication skills
