Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with patrons, taking drink orders, and delivering beverages promptly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste properly.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, and garnishes; assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices.
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the Aloha POS system or similar point-of-sale technology.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food orders and ensure timely service to guests.
- Manage time effectively during peak hours to ensure all customers are attended to promptly.
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and calculating drink prices accurately.
- Knowledge of fine dining etiquette and hospitality standards is a plus.
- Familiarity with food safety practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
