This position involves potentially handling teller, account service, and limited consumer lending responsibilities creating a seamless and efficient banking experience for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
- Customer Engagement: Greet customers warmly, identify their needs, and provide personalized assistance.
- Product Knowledge: Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the bank's products and services, effectively cross-selling to meet customer needs.
- Problem Resolution: Address customer inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Relationship Building: Build and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive engagement and excellent service.
Teller Services:
- Cash Handling: Process customer transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, with accuracy and efficiency.
- Currency Management: Maintain accurate cash levels, order currency, and perform regular cash counts.
- Transaction Verification: Ensure the accuracy of transactions and adherence to banking policies and procedures.
Product Sales:
- Cross-Selling: Identify opportunities to cross-sell bank products and services to meet customers’ financial needs.
- Promotions: Actively promote special offers, promotions, and new products to customers.
Account Management:
- Account Opening/Closing: Assist customers with opening and closing accounts, providing guidance on various account options.
- Documentation: Ensure proper completion of account-related paperwork and documentation.
Digital Banking Support:
- Education: Provide guidance to customers on using digital banking services, including online and mobile banking.
- Troubleshooting: Assist customers with basic troubleshooting of digital banking platforms.
Consumer Loan Origination:
- Customer Interaction: Interact with customers to understand their financial needs and assist in the loan application process.
- Application Review: Evaluate consumer loan applications, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
- Credit Analysis: Perform basic credit analysis to determine the creditworthiness of applicants.
- Documentation: Collect and review required documentation for loan applications.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in finance or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in banking or customer service is preferred.
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle cash transactions with accuracy.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulatory requirements.
- Familiarity with digital banking platforms.
