Our small Family Practice office is looking for a new teammate. Are you looking to expand your medical skills? Learn new things each day? Have autonomy to make decisions? Like working with a group of fun people? Here is what we are looking for:
Mandatory Skills:
- Basic employee skills, arrives on time, ready to work, dressed appropriately.
- Medical background that would include a basic knowledge of medical terminology, medications, different community providers.
- Must be able to multitask. You will never be bored in this position, so multi-tasking skills are a must. However, while you are juggling with one hand, copying, faxing and filing with the other, your voice still needs to sound like you were just waiting for this particular patient to call and are so excited to hear from them. It's definitely a skill!

Responsibilities
- Greet patients and visitors warmly, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out processes efficiently.
- Schedule appointments and maintain the calendar for medical staff.
- Handle phone inquiries and manage multi-line phone systems.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Process medical collections and assist with insurance verification.
- Provide administrative support and assist with clerical tasks as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
