Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team in Lincoln, NH. The primary purpose of this role is to utilize machines and equipment to assist with manufacturing processes while performing specialized tasks to create and produce standard or customized products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate various machines including press production, braid winding, lathe, and crimping machines according to established procedures and guidelines.
• Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, manufacturing drawings, and written instructions.
• Accurately record the number of parts produced, including good and scrap items.
• Utilize hand tools such as handheld screwdrivers and drill guns effectively.
• Maintain inventory of products at workstations and perform quality checks to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Identify product defects and report them promptly.
• Ensure safety and efficiency while operating equipment, adhering to safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely data, reporting any safety issues, hazards, accidents, or near misses to management.
• Adjust machine settings as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
• Properly use safety equipment and ensure machine guarding and interlocks are functioning correctly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve simple quality product issues.
• Complete other job tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Education and Training Requirements:

• Ability to read and interpret measuring devices, including tape measures.
• Previous machine operator experience preferred.
• Basic reading and math skills.
• Must be able to speak and understand English.
• Ability to follow directions and use basic hand tools.
• Strong problem-solving and reasoning skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $22.50 per hour
