This customer service position works onsite Monday - Friday during typical banking hours of 8am-5pm. This position is available due the awesome growth of our team member into another added role.

THE DAY-TO-DAY
This job has decision making that is made because of training and understanding the consequences of our actions. Most decisions are team based and consensus driven! You work 37.5-40 hours/week during normal business hours,
a Personal banker, you actively participate in our excellent training program so that you can be successful in this role. You will start by learning basic banking compliance knowledge and the initial teller skills to get you started including: teller transactions, answering phones, debit card creation/reissues, intranet reporting and contacting customers. Once you are comfortable with teller responsibilities you will learn how to open new accounts, perform wire transfers and account maintenance. We need you to provide our customer’s exceptional service. Learning is ongoing as rules and regulations continuously change as does our products and services to our customers.
When a customer needs help with their banking they simply contact you. By asking a series of questions, you can get a good understanding of what they are looking for. You work as a liaison between customers and our operations department to make sure we are doing the best work for our customers and their banking needs. Each day you can be found talking on the phone, posting transactions, creating accounts, or reviewing account documents. Throughout your day, you rely on checklists to ensure nothing slips through the cracks. Checking in with our customers, you make sure their needs are met!

Our Personal Bankers are the face of our bank as you seek to provide exceptional customer service for each customer. Much of your day is spent answering the phone, talking to customers and responding to emails as you seek to provide simple solutions to questions and/or solve complex problems. Being personable, patient, and kind you listen and respond to customer needs. You are diligent and empathetic; you follow through and follow up with clients to ensure they are fully satisfied. When tense situations arise, you are not easily flustered, but are diplomatic and work hard to diffuse the situation and ensure clients feel heard and their problems are resolved. At the end of the day, you get great satisfaction out of helping others and solving problems!
