Food Production Associate

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Associate to join our team in a fast-paced food processing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of food safety standards and regulations, including FDA regulations and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). This role is essential in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards while adhering to safety protocols.

Duties

• Operate and maintain production equipment while ensuring compliance with all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Sanitate work areas and equipment to uphold cleanliness standards in accordance with food safety regulations.
• Fabricate and assemble food products following established recipes and guidelines.
• Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality control measures and FDA regulations.
• Perform basic math calculations for inventory management and production tracking.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain efficient workflow and meet production goals.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify maintenance needs or potential issues.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a food processing plant or the food industry is preferred but not required.
• Mechanical knowledge of production equipment is a plus.
• Strong understanding of food safety practices, including CGMP.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment with a focus on quality and safety.
