Leasing Manager:
- The Leasing Manager leases apartments while providing exceptional customer service with a satisfaction mentality to ensure maximum occupancy and resident renewals.
- Cognizant of company policies and is able to explain them to residents and potential residents.
- Assists management with preparation of daily, weekly and monthly leasing reports and resident communications.
- Follows the leasing and marketing plan to achieve budgeted occupancy.
- Maintains comprehensive product knowledge and develops an awareness of both the property and competitive communities.
- Assists in preparing the competitive market survey report.
- Maintains a comprehensive knowledge of all lease documents and completes them in a timely and comprehensive manner.
- Assists in developing and sustaining precise resident files.
- Assists in achieving a high satisfaction rate with residents.
- Assists in the development of a resident retention and renewal program.
- Assists with social media efforts across multiple platforms.
- Conducts tours of the property and sell the property to prospective residents.
- Follows up on resident tours and maintains a high close ratio.
- Examines apartments prior to move-in to confirm market ready status.
- Partakes in the preparation, management, and execution of move-ins and move-outs.
- Understands and complies with Fair Housing laws and standards.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent and one year of related work experience is required.
- This position requires the ability to physically inspect the properties, construction projects, and portfolio and must possess any abilities and skills required to carry out the responsibilities outlined above even if not specifically mentioned.
